On Sunday afternoon, January 5, First Baptist Church of Twin Falls held an installation service for their new Senior Pastor, Dr. David Graham. David stepped into the position on August 1, 2019. The service was led by Rev. Andy Paz, the Mentor Pastor for the local So. ID M/NW LLC. Pastor Andy gave the charge to the congregation; the charge to the pastor; instituted the installation vows and led the group in the prayer of installation. Several local M/NW pastors were in attendance for the event. The service was a great launch for Pastor David’s ministry with the congregation. Expectations, along with attendance, are already running high for this new season of strong ministry and growth under Pastor David’s leadership.

Dr. Graham, and his wife, Nicholle and their three children, moved to Idaho from Deer Park, TX where he had served as the lead pastor for the San Jacinto Church from February 2015 through July 2019. Prior to that he was the founding and lead pastor of Generation Church in McDonough, GA from 2009 through January 2015. David also has prior ministry experience in Idaho having pastored the First Christian Praise Chapel in Rupert, ID from 2003 to 2009.

In terms of education David holds a D. Min. from Andersonville Theological Seminary (2013), a M. Div. from The King’s University (2005), and a B.S. from Wayland Baptist University (1998).

When Pastor David was asked about his hopes and dreams for FBC Twin Falls he responded with these faith-filled words:

My hopes for FBC Twin is to become a vibrant, life giving church that deeply impacts the community of Twin Falls with the hope of the gospel.

I would like us to become know as a congregation who loves God, loves people and seeks to empower the generations to serve God’s kingdom purpose.

In the coming years It is my prayer that FBC Twin Falls becomes a resourcing church for the region. Where we equip and train pastors, lay people and staff do to the work of the ministry effectively. In short I pray we become a disciple making powerhouse for God’s glory!

Let’s join in praying for and with First B - Twin and Pastor David asking our amazing and powerful God to honor this Spirit-inspired dream for the congregation and its ministry in Twin Falls.
